6:00pm UPDATE:  Updated snowfall numbers from around central Indiana.  As expected, highest amounts have come in from south-central Indiana.

4:50pm UPDATE:  Updated snowfall numbers from around central Indiana.  Heaviest amounts coming in from south-central Indiana.

4:15pm UPDATE:  Snow continues to fall, especially in south-central Indiana.  The back edge of the snow is moving in to western Indiana.  Snow should taper off in Indianapolis metro between 5pm and 6pm.

Here’s the highest snow reports I’ve found through 4pm.

3:15pm UPDATE: As expected, snow arrived in the Indianapolis metro around 1pm Sunday.  Snow, sometimes moderate to heavy, continues to fall through the state.  Heaviest snow is currently falling south of Indianapolis from Martinsville to Bloomington and to Columbus.

My snow forecast remains intact.  Still looking for widespread 1″ to 3″ by tonight with a band of 2″ to 4″ from Indianapolis and south.  Specifically for Indianapolis, 2″ to 3″ of snow looks probable.

Latest data supports snow tapering off in the Indianapolis metro around 6pm.  While there could be light snow falling, any additional accumulation should be finished by early evening.
