Around 3 p.m., a crash involving 12 vehicles occurred in the westbound lanes of Interstate 70 near the 31 mile marker.

Four people suffered non-life threatening injuries.  The crash cleanup took about three hours.

Around 3:22 p.m. State Police responded to an even bigger crash on I-70 near the 46 mile marker.

State Police estimate 50 vehicles were involved in that crash.  Seven people were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
