One lane of I-70 still closed in Putnam County, 50 cars involved in crash

UPDATE:  The right lane of westbound I-70 has reopened.  The left lane of westbound I-70 near US 231 remains closed.

PUTNAM COUNTY, Ind. (February 14, 2016) – All lanes of westbound I-70 in Putnam County near US 231 in Cloverdale are closed due to a crash involving approximately 50 vehicles.

Crews responded to the crash at 46 mile marker just after 3 p.m. There are no reports of serious injuries.

State police would like to remind motorists to use caution and slow down while driving.
