Police arrest Arizona man in Morgan county after cocaine, heroin found in car

MORGAN COUNTY, Ind. (Feb. 11, 2016)– An Arizona man was arrested Thrusday in Morgan County after police say they found heroin and cocaine in his car.

Just before noon, police stopped Christian Sotomayor, 25, of Mesa, Arizona after he made an improper lane change on I-70 near mile marker 52.

According to Indiana State Police, there were several indicators of possible criminal activity as they talked to Sotomayor. They searched the car and found two pounds of heroin and 20 pounds of cocaine.

He was arrested on charges of trafficking heroin and trafficking cocaine.

Police estimated the combined street value of the drugs at $360,000.
