INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Feb. 11, 2016)– A former Delaware County Sheriff’s deputy was arrested by the FBI Thursday and is now facing program fraud charges.

The FBI said Arlan Johnson was arrested after agents served a search warrant. The Delaware County Sheriff said Johnson retired last fall after an internal investigation was launched into missing ammunition from the department.

At that time, the investigation was turned over to the FBI.

Johnson appeared in federal court in Indianapolis Thursday.
