Joey Feek gets bedside visit from pastor who officiated her wedding 14 years ago

ALEXANDRIA, Ind. (February 10, 2016) – On Monday night, Joey and Rory Feek received a visit from the pastor who married the couple 14 years ago.

Pastor Mike Rosser and his wife visited the Feek’s Alexandria home to share a special prayer with them. The couple posted a photo from the special occasion to their Facebook page with the caption: “…blessed w a beautiful visit and time of prayer last night from our sweet friends Mike & Sally Rosser. Mike is the pastor who married us almost 14 years ago.”

Joey, 40, was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2014 shortly after the birth of the couple’s daughter, Indiana, who was born with Down syndrome.

This past October, the couple revealed that the cancer is terminal and they stopped treatment. Joey was given six months to live. Joey began receiving hospice care at home since November.

Rory has been sharing updates on their blog “This Life I Live,” and last week he wrote his wife is “more frail than ever.
