INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., (February 7, 2016) - Some special children and their families were cheering on Peyton Manning and the Broncos Sunday night at their very own watch party and their special support worked!
With the namesake of the hospital playing in the biggest and maybe even the last game of his career--Super Bowl 50--it seemed fitting for everyone Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital to throw a party and cheer on No. 18 and the Denver Broncos.
There was a big screen TV, plenty of food and lots of excitement. It’s times like this party that mean so much to these kids, their families and the staff.
“It’s a wonderful break, it’s a wonderful experience and we’re lucky to have other families to share the experience with to be surrounded by people who know what you’re going through and a lot of them have been through it themselves,” said Sonya Anderson, mother of a patient.
Earlier this week, patients and associates wrote letters of support to Peyton Manning and they have also been posting “good luck” videos.
