Late night fire displaces four Lebanon families

LEBANON, Ind. (February 8, 2016) – Boone County fire crews responded to a late-night fire in the area of Pearl Street and Indianapolis Avenue in Lebanon on Sunday.

Crews responded to a call about a fire with the possibility of residents trapped inside in the 400 block of Pearl Street just before 11:30 p.m.

When they arrived on scene, crews found a working residence fire with occupants trapped inside. Officials on scene tell us the Lebanon Fire Department rescued one resident by pulling them out through a window.

One person was taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries. No firefighters were injured.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
