Amy Beverland bus driver got out of seat, didn’t engage parking brake, report says

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (February 8, 2016) – According to a report released today, the driver involved in the Amy Beverland bus crash on January 26 got out of the driver’s seat without reengaging the parking brake causing the bus to move forward onto the sidewalk. Principal Susan Jordan was killed, and two kids were seriously injured as a result of the crash.

It is unknown at this time if the driver will face charges.
