Police: Woman’s wallet stolen from downtown Indianapolis restaurant

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Feb. 1, 2016) – Thieves took a woman’s wallet from her purse at a downtown Indianapolis restaurant and then used her credit card to make purchases, police say.

The theft happened on Jan. 23, 2016, between 7:15 p.m. and 8 p.m. at the RAM Restaurant & Brewery, 140 S. Illinois St. The victim received an alert from her bank about a possible fraudulent purchase made from a store outside the downtown Indianapolis area.

Police released surveillance images of two men wanted in connection with the case.
