Snow to move into central Indiana for morning rush hour, 1-3″ expected by noon

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Jan. 19, 2016)-- We have a Winter Weather Advisory in effect across the southern part of the state and snow will move in early Wednesday. The heaviest snow will fall during the morning rush hour. Limited visibility and icy roads will create challenges for commuters. 1-3" of snow is likely over the central part of the state by noon Wednesday. 2-4" of snow is likely over the southwest corner of the state.

ADVISORY MAP

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 3 a.m. until Noon Wednesday, from Terre Haute south to North Vernon.
