Downtown Indy attractions offer free admission for MLK Day

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (January 18, 2016) – Several top downtown Indy attractions are offering free admission Monday in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

The Children’s Museum is welcoming guests at no cost.  There will be special activities including a performance by a drum ensemble. The museum opens at 10 a.m.

The Rhythm Discovery Center is also free Monday. A kid-friendly jazz concert is scheduled for 11 a.m. featuring Indianapolis Jazz Hall of Fame artists

Plus, the NCAA Hall of Champions is encouraging donations to Gleaners Food Bank. Admission is free if you contribute a non-perishable food item to their efforts.
