INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (January 17, 2016) – Indianapolis police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 74-year-old man.

William Torrence was last seen by a relative at his home near 23rd and Meridian on the morning of January 15. Torrence is described as five feet and ten inches tall, and he weighs approximately 140 pounds.

He suffers from some loss of vision, and he has a surgery scar on the right side of his neck.

It is not clear what type of clothing Torrence was wearing when he left his residence, however, because of the extreme cold, investigators want to confirm his whereabouts and safety.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
