Our weather will stay quiet through this afternoon, with increasing clouds and unseasonable warmth.
Rain will arrive overnight and we'll have a wet Friday AM commute. Rain showers will be scattered on Friday and Saturday with 0.5" to 0.75" expected between the 2 days, but neither day will be a wash out.
We'll start to transition to snow by the pre-dawn hours on Sunday. That transition will start around 2am Sunday in Western Indiana and by 5am we should see that transition over to snow in Indy. Accumulations will be around 1" in the city with higher amounts NW. We will have slick spots on Sunday AM.
In addition to the snow on Sunday AM, we'll have 30mph wind gusts which will create wind chills in the single digits. By Monday AM we'll be feeling sub-zero wind chills. This arctic blast is going to continue for most of next week.
