Two deputies and ISP trooper hospitalized during south side meth lab bust

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (January 6, 2016) – Two deputies and an Indiana State Police trooper were hospitalized during a meth lab bust on the city’s south side late Tuesday night.

While IMPD officers were serving an arrest warrant at a home in the 2000 block of South Pennsylvania Street, they discovered indicators of a meth lab and contacted Indiana State Police.

Deputies got a search warrant and while in the process of the investigation they began to have reactions to the scene. They were hospitalized for evaluation.

Officers say that at least one person was arrested during this investigation.
