Indiana State Police investigating person shot in interstate incident

off-ramp from SB 465 to Pendleton Pike

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. ( January 3, 2016)  –Early Sunday morning just after 3 a.m., the Indiana State Police responded to the ramp from I-465 southbound to Pendleton Pike on a report of a person shot. It appears the victim was a passenger in a silver Ford Crown Victoria, and suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The driver of that car was not injured and was arrested on an unrelated traffic warrant. His identity will be released later today.

The suspected shooter was in a red passenger car that fled from the scene before police arrived. The ramp has remained closed as the scene is being investigated.
