Colts place Dwayne Allen on injured reserve
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Dec. 30, 2015) – The Indianapolis Colts placed fourth-year tight end Dwayne Allen on the Injured Reserve list Wednesday afternoon and elevated tight end Erik Swoope from the practice squad to fill the open spot on the roster.
Allen started 12 games for the Colts in 2015, tallying 16 catches for 109 yards and one touchdown. For his career, he has started 42 games in Indianapolis over three seasons with 91 catches, 1,045 yards, and 13 touchdowns. The Colts drafted Allen in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft out of Clemson.

Allen may have played his last game with the Colts. This summer, he will be an unrestricted free agent.
