TIPPECANOE COUNTY, Ind. (Dec. 16, 2015)– INDOT says a large hole that is forming in a bridge caused the right southbound lane of I-65 to close in Tippecanoe County.

The closure is expected to last until Thursday afternoon. One lane remains open.

Traffic was backed up from the 164 mile marker, four miles south of the State Road 38/168 exit, to the 167 mile marker.

INDOT recommends taking US 52 to avoid the congestion.
