You probably noticed the decided lack of fog this morning as you stepped out the door. It was a welcome change! The clouds however are sticking around thanks to a disturbance moving through the area. We could also see a few sprinkles until about noon as the system moves to the east. Temperatures are running nearly 10 degrees warmer this morning! Our normal afternoon high is 41º for this time of year and we are already above that!
We have a mild afternoon on the way with highs in the low to mid 50s. The clouds will break up a little later today, leaving us with a mix of sun and clouds.
Changes are on the way for the weekend. Not only will we see near record afternoon temperatures on Saturday and Sunday with highs in the mid 60s, but we're also tracking a storm system that will bring rain and a few thunderstorms. Some rain will linger into Monday morning with drier conditions for the afternoon. Then our temperatures will return closer to seasonal normals for the beginning of the week as cooler air settles in.
