Three people injured in Hendricks County house fire

CAMBY, Ind. (December 6, 2015) — A house fire in Hendricks County sends three people to the hospital.

Brent Anderson, Assistant Fire Chief with the Plainfield Fire Territory, said fire crews responded to a residence fire around midnight in the 10300 block of Sweetsen Road. Upon arrival, the home was engulfed in flames. Fire crews quickly worked to put the fire out.

Three people were transported to the hospital, two suffering smoke inhalation and a third victim with a burned hand.

Anderson said the home is a completely destroyed.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.
