INDIANAPOLIS (November 30, 2015) – Suspects are in custody after an early morning robbery and police chase on the city’s near west side.

IMPD officers say the chase started on the west side around 2:30 a.m. after suspects stole beer from a Ricker’s convenience store near the intersection of 16th Street and Tibbs Ave.

According to police, the suspect vehicle refused to stop and led police on a chase through the near west side, ending near Concord Court and N Goodlet Avenue.

Police say one suspect remained with the vehicle and was taken into custody, but the other ran from officers.

Officers say the second suspect was caught by a K9 officer and suffered a minor bite from the dog. He was taken into custody and an ambulance was called out to treat the bite.
