Officers search for two robbery suspects near Purdue campus

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (Nov. 24, 2015)—Officers with the West Lafayette Police Department are searching for two robbery suspects Tuesday morning.

The robbery occurred at the intersection of Pierce and Wood streets, near Purdue University.

The suspects were described to be two white males, who were wearing all black.

Police caution people to avoid the area.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Purdue Police Department at 765-494-8221.

Police say there have been three robberies near campus in the past week. All the victims were walking by themselves and approached by unknown subjects and robbed of money.

They say in one of those cases, a handgun was displayed and the suspect was described to be a black male.
