DELAWARE COUNTY, Ind. (November 21, 2015) – A girl was killed in a northwest Delaware County crash Saturday afternoon due to wintry weather.

According to the Delaware County Sheriff’s Department, Michael Berry, 18, Marion, was driving eastbound on SR 28 near Langdon Road when he lost control of his car due to slushy and slick road conditions.

The car spun across the center line into the path of an AEP bucket truck.

Allie Marie McKim, 17, the female passenger in the car, was ejected and died at the scene.

The male driver of the car and the driver of the AEP truck were treated at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.
