Metro police investigators are going through scores of evidence and tips and are working non-stop to find Amanda Blackburn’s killer.
Detectives were back in the Woods of North Kessler neighborhood today looking for evidence and making sure nothing has been left uncovered.
Investigators are sifting through everything in the case- like the handgun that was found not far from the Blackburn’s home—to the surveillance video showing the man they believe is involved.
Investigators are looking at the finer points of the video- how the man was walking, his gestures and what he may have been doing.
They are monitoring the Blackburn’s financial records.
Their lives and what was happening in the neighborhood at the time are under the microscope right now until an arrest is made.
“Something as heinous as this… we wanna make sure we leave no stone uncovered,” said IMPD Lieutenant Rich Riddle.
Police are still not saying how many people were involved in the home invasion, but they do know that the man in the surveillance video was a part of it.
