IMPD releases surveillance photos of person of interest in Amanda Blackburn murder case

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (November 16, 2015) — IMPD released surveillance pictures of a person of interest wanted for questioning for the murder of Amanda Blackburn.

Officers responded to Blackburn’s home in the 2800 block of Sunnyfield Court around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning. Blackburn’s husband came home and found her unconscious on the floor.

Blackburn, 28, was shot at least once, and she passed away Wednesday.

These surveillance images were obtained from the surveillance camera system of a home on Sunnyfield Court. According to IMPD, the murderer broke into another home in the neighborhood before killing Blackburn.
