A strong storm system will bring periods of heavy rain and gusty winds to central Indiana this week. In areas where leaves clog drains and sewers we will see flash flooding. The rain will fall early this week with a dry pattern developing Thursday. A new storm system moves in this weekend bringing a chance for a rain and snow showers.
Heavy rain and 30 mph wind gusts will be with us for Tuesday and Wednesday.
1-2" of rain is likely over the next 48 hours.
A second cold front crosses the state Thursday and temperatures will fall during the day.
We will have a dry, chilly Friday.
Rain and/or snow showers will be likely this Saturday.
