CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. (November 8, 2015) — Police are currently investigating a shooting in Crawfordsville. One man was shot in the back and transported to the hospital, according to a Montgomery County dispatcher. The victim’s condition is unknown.

Police were called to the scene in the 1800 block of Indianapolis Road just after 3 a.m. Sunday.

At approximately 4 a.m., officers had a small side street labeled the “Hurt Expressway” taped off. This is an area between a Marathon gas station and a bar called the Indy Road Pub. CBS4 reached out to the bar, but it had no comment. Officers on scene said they were talking to witnesses.

At this time it’s unclear if a suspect(s) is in custody.
