Indianapolis police investigate east side shooting

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (October 11, 2015) – A man is reportedly in good condition after being shot twice in the leg in the middle of a street on the east side of Indianapolis.

The incident happened at approximately 11:00 p.m. Saturday in the 11000 block of Presidio Drive.

Police identified the victim as a 36-year-old male who lives just blocks away from the scene. The victim was transported to Eskenazi Hospital.

Officers said there were bullet holes in a nearby house. No one else was injured in the shooting.

Police are currently investigating.  There’s no suspect description at this time.
