INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (October 10, 2015) – One person is dead after a car accident on the city’s northwest side.

According to police, a UPS truck hit a car at the intersection of 79th Street and Zionsville Road just before 11 p.m.

The intersection was closed for hours after the crash because a fiber optic cable was drooping over the intersection. An AT&T crew came out to repair it. The intersection reopened early Saturday morning.
