Police chase ends in crash on city’s west side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (October 3, 2015) – Police are searching for a suspect who led them on a chase on the city’s west side after refusing to pull over for a traffic stop.  During the chase, the suspect bailed out of the car and let it crash into a house in the 1900 block of Rochester Avenue.

The suspect then fled on foot into the neighborhood. There were three women who were also in the car with the suspect. According to police, they stayed in the car and are now being questioned.

Meanwhile, police have set up a perimeter and have brought in a K-9 unit to search for the suspect.

Police describe the suspect as a white male wearing a light colored shirt, dark jeans, bald head, standing six-foot tall and weighing 200 pounds.
