Metro Police locate homicide person of interest in Kentucky

UPDATE: (May 9, 2018)– Anthony Beuhner was sentenced to 63 years after being found guilty of murder in April. He received 911 days of jail credit.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (October 3, 2015)–Indianapolis Police detectives say they have been notified that a person of interest in a homicide Friday has been located in Kentucky.

29-year-old Anthony Buehner was located in Rowan County, Kentucky.  That area is about an hour east of Lexington.

Police say Buehner is being held there on unrelated charges.

Indianapolis detectives say they want to question Buehner in connection with the shooting death Friday of 41-year-old Janet Cook.

Cook was found shot to death shortly before 9 a.m. on the front porch of a home in the 400 block of North Exeter Avenue.

According to investigators the shooting appeared to be domestic related.
