INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Oct. 2, 2015) -- An Anderson mom got a special day of pampering and football fun, thanks to CBS4, the Indianapolis Colts and Tyler Mason Salon & Spa, which is the official salon of the Colts Cheerleaders.
Paula Boze’s husband nominated her on the CBS4Indy Facebook page, and described how hard she works every day for her family.
“I work at the Anderson Fire Department. I work all day and then I come home at night,” said Boze.
“My son is mildly autistic. So I spend quite a bit of time talking with my son.”
Boze went up against three other finalists, and picked up thousands of votes. When Boze learned she won, she picked her daughter, Ciera, to join in on the fun.
“My mom is one of the most selfless people I know, honestly,” said Ciera Boze. “Like my dad said, she would buy cheaper things so we would have better things.”
The Colts Pro Shop at Lucas Oil Stadium was the first stop, where the mother and daughter duo picked out some new Colts gear.
After shopping, they went to Tyler Mason for a mini-makeover. The Boze women got pedicures, a blowout and their makeup done.
The day ended at the Colts Practice Facility for Colts Women’s 101 Clinic. Jerrell Freeman and Coby Fleener gave a lesson on their roles on the football field.
CBS4 This Morning will take you inside this unique experience with the players on Monday morning.
