LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ind. (September 28, 2015) – Oolitic Town Marshal Bill Allen  was sentenced to two and a half years of probation after he pleaded guilty to a Class D felony charge of dissemination of matter harmful to a minor.

Allen turned himself into the Lawrence County Correction Center November 24, 2014 after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

According to WBIW, Allen was accused of molesting a then 13-year-old girl between March 2008 and May 2012.

As part of the plea deal, the molestation charges were dropped, and Allen admitted he provided the girl with a sexual device, according to WBIW.
