(September 25, 2015) – If you found $8,000 as a 7-year-old what would you do with it? One very special boy was faced with this exact situation.

According to WBZ-TV, Aiden Wright’s character was tested Saturday when he found $8,000 while playing at a park in a Massachusetts neighborhood.

“I ran up the slide and there was this black check book, and I opened it up and found $8,000 in it and brought it to my uncle,” Aiden told WBZ.

Aiden and his uncle immediately turned the money in to police.

According to WBZ, the money belonged to Elias Santos, a hard-working contractor who had just been paid, and he was so grateful Aiden and his uncle did he right thing.

“I am so grateful because we don’t have people like this no more,” Santos said.

Santos even gave Aiden $100 to thank him for his honesty.

“We go to Sunday school and he’s been taught to do the right thing. This shows the lessons had been learned and we are so proud,” says Ellen Wright, Aiden’s mother.
