Truck fire closes I-74 westbound near Greensburg

DECATUR COUNTY, Ind. (Sept. 24, 2015) – A crash on I-74 in Decatur County Thursday closed Interstate 74 westbound near mile marker 129.

According to Indiana State Police, the truck caught fire around 1:30 p.m. near Greensburg. They said lanes would be closed for several hours as they work to clear the scene.

State police said the fire was out and INDOT bridge inspectors were on their way to examine the bridge.

According to Sgt. Stephen Wheeles, only minor injuries were reported in connection with the crash and fire.
