Mug shot: Marco Galindo

DANVILLE, Ind. (Sept. 15, 2015)– Police say an arrest has been made in a homicide investigation that began in November 2002.

Natalie Horsley, 33, was found dead at a construction site in the 10800 block of Tooley Court, near Avon, on November 21, 2002. The case had been considered a cold case for several years.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) detectives and Indiana State Police (ISP) lab technicians found a potential lead in the case recently.

An officer who originally investigated the case followed up on the lead. A warrant was issued for Marco Galindo on September 9. He faces a preliminary charge of murder.

Galindo is currently in jail in Fairfield, California on unrelated charges. He will be transported back to Indiana to appear in Hendricks County Circuit Court.
