Man with dementia located, reunited with family

Brian Bauer

UPDATE 11:20 p.m. — Police confirm Brian Bauer has been safely reunited with his family.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Sept. 10, 2015)–  Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) detectives are searching for a missing man with dementia.

Officers responded to the 2600 block of Roena Street, in the Mars Hill neighborhood, to help locate Brian Bauer, 68. Bauer was last seen at 5:13 p.m. Police say he may be unaware of his immediate surroundings.

He is described as 5’4”, 120 lbs with gray/balding hair and brown eyes.

Bauer is believed to be wearing a navy blue polo shirt, khaki cargo pants and green and white shoes. He also has a red and black walker.

Anyone with information about Bauer is asked to call 911.
