INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (September 2, 2015) – Indianapolis police are investigating after a person was shot in the head on the city’s northwest side Wednesday.

The shooting occurred in a parking lot near the intersection of West 34th Street and Moller Road, close to Northwest High School, around 6:45 p.m.

Police confirmed that the person shot is a male. He was taken to Eakenazi Health in critical condition.

No other details were immediately released.
