Missing fourth grade student from Danville found safe at a home

UPDATE: The missing boy was found safe.

DANVILLE, Ind. (September 2, 2015) – Danville Police are searching for a fourth grade student who went missing from his school.

According to the Danville police chief, the boy wandered off from South Elementary School around 9:15 this morning.

The school is located at 1375 West Lincoln Street in Danville.

Police say he left voluntarily after refusing to go to class and is believed to still be in the area.

He is described as a white male with red hair, about 4’11”, 90 pounds, wearing a black shirt and gray shorts.

If you have any information at all about his whereabouts, please call 911 immediately.
