Police identify three victims shot on Indianapolis northeast side

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Aug. 28, 2015)– Police say 3 people were injured in a shooting Friday night on the northeast side of Indianapolis.

Officers responded to the 4000 block of Butler Avenue, near Emerson Avenue and 40th Street, around 10:30 p.m. on a report of shots fired.

Police confirmed that 2 males and 1 female were shot. All 3 victims were transported to Eskanazi. The female is in critical condition, the two males are in serious but stable condition.

IMPD identified the victims as 49 year-old Sherry Mosley, 28 year-old Jamison Scott, and 31 year-old Anthony Sullivan.

IMPD investigators do not believe this was a random act, but a full investigation is underway.
