INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (August 17, 2015) – The Indianapolis State Fair can be a pretty pricey venture for a family. By the time you factor in the price of admission, cost of rides, and of course FOOD it could end up costing you as much as a trip to Disney World (that may be a slight exaggeration, but you catch my drift)!

Thankfully, Tuesday at the fair is known as “$2 Tuesday” and there are plenty of deals!

First off, gate admission is just $2 – that’s a $10 saving per person!

But you must make sure to follow one VERY important step before heading to the fair:

Print out THIS VOUCHER from Springleaf Financial ahead of time and present it at the gate.

After you’ve entered the gate, tilt and spin your way through the Midway! All rides are just $2 from noon to 10 p.m.

Once you’ve had your fill of thrills, check out $2 menu options from over 140 vendors. The $2 option is typically a scaled-down version of the full price item, but it’s still a great deal nonetheless. (Notice how I mentioned checking out the food AFTER checking out the rides? Yeah, there’s a reason for that.)

Also, Tuesday is Seniors Day, and everyone over the age of 55 can ride the state fair shuttles around the fairgrounds FREE all day!

And keep in mind, activities like petting cute baby goats and ogling over the massive cheese sculpture are completely free!
