CANTON, Mass. (Aug. 13, 2015) – A Massachusetts brewery fired back at Sun King Brewery to stand up for Patriots pride.

Blue Hills Brewery in Canton took to Twitter Thursday to show one of its cans stamped “A. LUCK SUX.” The move countered a similar message that went viral this week from Indianapolis’ Sun King Brewery after an employee stamped “TOM BRADY SUX” on more than 20,000 cans of Wee Mac Scottish Ale.

Sun King said an employee was responsible for the mischief, which targeted Brady as he deals with the fallout from the so-called “DeflateGate” scandal that could cost him a four-game suspension and has ended up in federal court.

While the Brady can was a case of a “rogue” employee, the Luck cans are “officially sanctioned by management as a playful jab at another craft brewery,” according to Boston Eater.

Will this beer battle ever be settled? Fans on both sides have their calendars marked for Oct. 18, when the Indianapolis Colts and New England Patriots square off in front of a national audience at Lucas Oil Stadium in what is sure to be one of the most-hyped regular season games in NFL history.
