Suspect sought after Kokomo store robbed twice in one week

KOKOMO, Ind. (August 12, 2015)– Police are looking for a suspect after a Kokomo store was robbed twice in just four days.

On August 6, officers were called to the S and G Mart located at 1515 West Lincoln Road in reference to a burglary. A large quantity of cigarettes and food was stolen. In security video, two males were seen entering the store. One suspect was wearing a yellow hooded sweatshirt that possibly has the word “Everlast” printed on the front, gray sweat pants with white stripes on the side and a mask around his face. The second suspect appeared to be wearing a gray Indianapolis Colts sweatshirt with a black rag over his face which has a white design on it. They also carried in a bright orange back pack with black trim and a large hammer.

On August 10, officers were again called to the store on a report of a burglary. A large quantity of cigarettes was stolen. Security video showed a man entering the store. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled over his head with possibly a white emblem on the left chest. Police say he appeared to have a mustache.

Investigators believe that the suspect in the second burglary was the suspect from the first burglary who was wearing the yellow sweatshirt.
