Police search for man wanted in at least two bank robberies

Bank robbery suspect

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (August 7, 2015)– Police are looking for a man suspected in at least two bank robberies. The latest one happened Friday.

Police say the suspect robbed a BMO Harris bank just after 11:15 a.m. Friday in the 10000 block of East Washington Street.

Police describe the suspect as being in his mid-20s, between 5’7″ and 5’10” and weighs between 130 and 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray and black Denver Nuggets hat, sunglasses, gray-striped short sleeve shirt and dark colored cargo shorts.

Investigators believe he also robbed a BMO Harris bank on July 28 in the 1400 block of North Shadeland Avenue.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force at 317-595-4000 or Crime Stoppers of Indiana at 317-262-TIPS. Callers may also text “INDYCS” plus tip information to 274637.
