INDIANAPOLIS (Aug. 5, 2015) -- Rep. Andre Carson, D-Ind., is once again partnering with Ivy Tech Community College to host the Central Indiana Job Fair.
More than 125 employers will be at the event Wednesday, Aug. 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ivy Tech Corporate College and Culinary Center, 2820 N. Meridian Street.
Some of the companies looking to hire people at the fair include Eskenazi Health, FedEx, and NOBLE of Indiana.

Employers will be looking to fill both full and part-time positions and some will have openings for individuals with criminal records. Carson says there will be something for everyone who’s looking for work at the job fair Wednesday.
“A lot of people are dissatisfied with where they are, a lot of talented people are out of work and for them to show up to a place where you're going to have over 125 employers representing over 3,000 positions it's a time for healthy exchange,” Carson said.
This is the sixth year Carson has hosted the Central Indiana Job Fair. The Congressman says he continues to organize the event because constituents tell him the issues they care most about are jobs and the economy. Organizers encourage people planning to attend the job fair to bring multiple copies of their resume with them to the event.
