Former Mooresville Schools employee faces multiple sexual misconduct with a minor charges
MOORESVILLE, Ind. (August 4, 2015) – A former Mooresville Schools employee is charged with six felonies – including sexual misconduct with a minor.
A warrant was issued for Terra Moore’s arrest Tuesday.
She is charged with three counts sexual misconduct with a minor and three counts dissemination of matter harmful to minors.
Sources say the allegations involve a 14-year-old boy.
Mooresville Schools release this statement following Moore’s arrest:
We are very disheartened to hear of the charges against a former employee. These actions do not represent the hundreds of professionals at Mooresville Schools who keep the education and safety of our students a top priority. All Mooresville Schools employees must pass a criminal background check prior to employment, as did this former employee. We will cooperate fully with the investigation. Our main focus is to continue preparing for a positive and successful school year.
