Track action kicks off at IMS Friday, Schedule and details

Indianapolis, Ind. (July 24, 2015) – Track action starts today at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway with practice sessions for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NASCAR XFINITY Series.

Friday is “Chevy Day at the Brickyard” and the IMS Midway and Kids Zone will be open all day.

Kids 12 and under get in free with an adult. Adult tickets are 15 dollars.

The Hero Zone is also open Friday. You can try a military-themed obstacle course and a rock wall.

There are autograph sessions with drivers including Kasey Kahne, Jamie McMurray, Danica Patrick and Indiana-native Ryan Newman.
