Police seek man for questioning in connection with July homicide

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (July 17, 2015) – New footage may help police solve a July homicide case.

Police want to question the man seen in this surveillance video. Images show the man walking away from a fight. Investigators say he could have information about the murder of 26-year-old Ryan Gallet.

Gallet was found dead from a gunshot wound in the 1200 block of 33rd Street around 7:45 p.m. Sunday. The footage, shot around 12:15 p.m. outside a Marathon gas station, could help identify the man. Police said he was seen throwing punches at Gallet.

Police stress they only want to question the man at this time.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at (317) 262-TIPS (8477). Callers may also text “INDYCS” plus tip information to 274637 (CRIMES).
