Teen shot in rear end on far east side of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (July 9, 2015) – An Indianapolis teen was shot in the rear end on the far east side of Thursday.

Police were dispatched to the 2500 block of Sheffield Drive around 6:15 p.m.

When officers arrived they found a 16-year-old male shot in the right buttock. The bullet exited through his groin.

The teen was transported to Eskenazi Hospital in stable condition.

There is no suspect information at this time.
