Indianapolis officer crashes into Broad Ripple bank while responding to call

(July 8, 2015) – An Indianapolis police car crashed into a bank in Broad Ripple Wednesday afternoon.

The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. near the intersection of E 63rd Street and N College Avenue at First Financial Bank.

The officer was responding to a call and traveling north on College Avenue when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the bank.

The officer was not injured and there were no other cars involved in the crash.
